The Gateland working today to make a difference for tomorrow
We work in three key areas in development & support
- Personal Development
- Offender Management
- Supported Living
Our client group is predominantly young males between the age of sixteen to twenty-two who have been before the courts and are deemed to be at risk, in need of a particular support package or a place of safety.
Working with the three big R's which are the fundamental building blocks at the heart of the gateland where the foundations have been laid for : re-training, rehabilitating & re-educating.
Whilst it is recognise that each local authority will provide the necessary care for It's service users. Inevitably there will always be individual cases / areas of training and support that are uneconomical for the authority to deliver we provide some of those services through our three step pathway programme (Changing Directions,2).
"Changing directions,2 is made up of three modules"
These have been specifically designed to bring together and address key elements for social and personal growth.
Modules 1. Personal Development : My action plan, Important people to me, training, education & employment
Modules 2. Offender Management : This modules looks at what life would be like without offending the police and how to deal with temptation.
Modules 3. Supported living : This is the gateland flagship module / programme which has been put together with some input from former care leavers and has a special place for the founder.
We deliver all our programme with a modern twist and a hint of fun.
