Mission Statement

Our mission statement is quite simple

Bringing opportunity & direction,  improving the lives of our service users. One of our strengths is the ability to create a space where young people can be inspired, thrive, learn new skills and most of all develop in a safe and friendly training environment.

A commitment to stand by our service users whilst they navigate the maze of change on their new journey

At some stage every young person will come to a cross roads.  For some,  we can be there with a clear  direction of the path they need to be heading in order to  change their present situation. We know with change challenges can come and they do, and that's when our work really begins.

Some of our young people find it difficult to put the past behind them, but with the correct support they can overcome that hurdle and begin a new journey

When their time with us comes to an end, we will be happy knowing when those challenges come again (which they will), they will be far better equipped to take them on knowing they can't control every situation they find themselves in, but they can control the outcome by using the skills they have learned.

We believe that young people who want and need to make significant changes to their way of life and are unsure of the correct path to take should be given the chance and opportunity to do so with us here at The Gateland. We believe anything is possible with the correct training & support package in place.   Historically we have always worked with young males, howeverwe have a number of interests in other areas relating to safeguarding, training & development that we feel we could contribute to
