Our programe keeping out & keeping on the right side
Some young people look at the prospects of being incarcerated as an occupational hazard and have no desire in changing their direction. Our job is to change that mindset through our offender management program (Keeping Out & Keeping on Side).
There has to be a last time it's all about the mindset
At The Gateland, we say there is nothing wrong with being on the right side of the law. The aim of our (KO & KOs) programis to reduce the number of first time offenders re-offending, slow down and bring a stop to that re-occurring cycle .
Our offender management program uses role play, they get to see the difference between somebody asking for a favour and somebody trying to coerc them into offending. Giving young people the necessary skills to do the right thing at the right time by saying no in a way they will not lose face amongst their peers.

These are just some of the challenges young people face on a daily basissome of societies most vulnerable young people are struggling internally.
